straight up, this is not for kids in any way or form. this volume was sent me to shrink wrapped. first few pages immediately had a beheading. the MC does every woman in sight, breasts are exposed, liquids are everywhere, if the nether regions were exposed this would be hentai for sure but right now it's straddling the line.that aside, the plot is the main character is a sorcerer who wants to build a dungeon and effectively take over the world, and this is his story. involves him more or less summoning demons, capturing heroes, doing every lady in sight. it's interesting for sure but the sex is unavoidable and easily may be the reason folks may be turned off from reading it.

Basically Dungeon Keeper but with sex. If you look past the sex scenes it is a pretty interesting story though it is pretty slow at the beginning. It's borderline Hentai with the amount of sex and it feels like it can't make up its mind if it wants to be all about the sex or an actual story. The other review is misleading as there is no point where he has sex with a child, also no book ever deserves to be burned, no matter the subject.

That's a question you'll be asking yourself as you read this manga.Our main protagonist is a man whose past, as far as we have been told, is full of betrayal by his fellow humans. His name is Aur, and he has a mission. That mission? To create a dungeon filled with treasure, beautiful women, and dangerous monsters. A task normally impossible, made very easy for Aur who located what is known as a 'Dragon Vein'. This is a place where mana flows like an underground river, and upon locating one he drank from it and instantly became younger and stronger. He then almost immediately summons a beautiful succubus named Lilu, who he forms a contract and has sex with on the spot.That's right, this is a manga series full of semi-explicit sex. Aur is a man who enjoys the sight and company of women, accruing many that he keeps close by and constantly partaking in the bodily pleasures they offer. But this isn't all just sex for the sake of sex, he uses sex as a means of breaking women he wants. Which leads to original question of good vs evil.You see Aur is not a man you wish to cross, as he has no patience for those who disobey him. In this first volume he massacres an entire village after their chief attempts to fight him, yet in another village he provides medicine and farming advice as well as protection against bandits. I would describe Aur as true neutral, but with a penchant for non-human and fallen human women. He's not above mind breaking a strong female adventurer, yet he won't stoop as low as to abuse a little girl offered to him as a sacrifice. Aur is an interesting man that's hard to get a read on, and it makes this series all that more worth it to read.This first volume is a good bit of character introduction and building, but it still has action. However volume two is where things will really kick off, as we end on a meeting where Aur is preparing to assault his first city. He let's us know this will not be as simple as conquering a village where the chief is the only one he needs to convince, but with a troop of dark elves, a hulking hulti-armed demon, an apprentice sorceress, a fallen heroine, and his loyal succubus Aur feels he is prepared to do it.As far as translation goes, it's pretty much on par with the original Japanese dialogue. There are a few instances where I noticed some embellishing, but these instances are few and far between and do not detract from the main story. Wesley Bridges finally lends a good English name to the list of translators that Seven Seas contracts out to, and I look forward to reading more of this series.

I forgot how I got interested in this but I do not regret it. The one of the few if not the only harem books out thar where the guy doesn't act all goodie two shoes and ignores the ladies advances, but does the deed with em as he attempts to build the ultimate dungeon. All the mean time staying on the edge of the cliff ecchi with the hungry pits of hentai down below. The main character is Aur, a lawfully evil sorcerer. He has a villainous way of doing things (clever use of words, extortion, threatening to turn you into an undead slave are some examples) while at the same time playing the role of an understanding king. Extending deadlines, laying down pardons, even dropping down some gold to help the town rebuild etc.Without trying to ruin the story, I will give yal a brief summary of what is going on.Starts off like most anime, a why. Shows a bit of his past. Then turns to the now with his need to build a dungeon. He summons a demon who turns out to be a monster gal and forms a loop hole free pact with her. As the story progresses he goes out into the world and becomes governor of a local town, then more story progression he gains more minions to build the dungeon. While his harem expands and he sleeps with em. Ends with him looking out to the lands, suggesting his next move. As I stated earlier like all other anime, thar is the convenient steam cloud or random object obscuring the naughty bits, thou the bosoms do manage to elude this. Leaving some highly suggestiveness in the scenes.One thing I don't about this, is how slow the plot unravels as there is alot of the dirty deed going on. But that is minuscule compared to the uniqueness this series has. Plus the second volume makes up for it a bit.

Got it when it suppose to be delivered, so I have no qualms about it. Love that its in perfect condition too, no damages at all.The story is quite special and would recommend it to anyone who love Lit RPG, though its more fantasy. Almost similar to "Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in dungeon?" So anyone that wants an enticing story, look this up!

This is basically a dungeon core book but as a manga. fair warning there is nudity and sex in it and like most dungeon core books it's all about domination. This is truly a dream come true for Dungeon core Buffs

About the Author

Stan and Jan Berenstain were already successful cartoonists for magazines and adult humor books when they began writing children's books. The first story starring the bear family, The Big Honey Hunt, appeared in 1962. Since then, more than 340 Berenstain Bears books have been published, and more than 260 million copies have been sold. What began as an idea sparked by their young sons' interest in children's books has become over the years arguably the best-selling children's book series ever. Since their inception, the Berenstain Bears stories have expanded to include picture books, beginning readers, and chapter books--even a hit TV show on PBS. Writing and illustrating the books has become a Berenstain family affair. Mike joined with his parents as a creative team in the late 1980s. The Bear family has expanded over the years as well. My son LOVES Berenstain bears! Loves them. We have at least 75% of the books, some from when I was a kid. I loved them so much I kept them hoping to read them to my children. Having said that, this one seems out of place in the Berenstain series. The bears look slightly different, like maybe a different artist did it? the message is super strange, basically, mom gets tired of the kids & papa bear not helping around the house so she stops cleaning or doing any kind of chore around the house until they are living in a pit.Picture bugs in the bathtub & dishes piled up in the sink etc.. Finally papa & the kids get tired of living in a filthy house & decide to clean.The strangest part however is the fact that the dog poops regularly in the house throughout the book,... No joke! There are at least 2, maybe 3 pictures of steamy piles of doo in the house. The authors also write that it is a chore to pick up the "leavings" of the dog...in the house! What?! My son totally noticed & was super grossed out. This was the strangest Berenstain Bear book I have ever seen.

As with most Berenstein Bear books, it teaches children important lessons. The lessons here are that one person shouldn't have to do all the work to keep up a house because it's too much, and also, if the house is not kept up it becomes very unpleasant to live in - both great lessons! As always, it was colorful and had cute illustrations too! Perfect for young children and middle-school aged children too!

My kids (ages 3, 5, and 7) and I all love any of the Berenstain Bears books, and this was no exception. It is a good reminder that everybody needs to do their chores, and I am not a mean mom for making my kids do theirs :)

Whether you like the Christian undertones of the Berenstain Bears or not, the books themselves have some great lessons to be learned. My 5 year old loves these books. We rent all we can from the library and buy the ones he has to hear over and over. Great way to help explain things to kids in a way that is not lecturing. Yes some can get a bit heavy on the religious side, but not all do and if that is not your thing the basic chores, manners, bullies, etc. books are a good buy.

I love all the Berenstein Bears books. They can provide a good starting point for a conversation with your child. Don't look to these books for answers on how to handle a problem. They aren't meant for that.In this one, we see what happens when Mama gets tired of everyone else avoiding their chores, so she avoids hers, too. Once the others see what the house is like, they start to pitch in to help.This book started a good discussion between me and my 7 year old about what chores are and why we should do them. We talked about Mama Bear's feelings when Papa and the cubs didn't do their chores. We also talked about what happened to the tree house when Mama quit doing her chores and how that made everyone else feel.These are great books for reading anytime and are easy for my child to read alone and understand.

Stan & Jan Berenstain's classic Berenstain Bears stories were personal favorites throughout my childhood, and now I use them often, whether for reading to young children or for teaching English to older children and adults. Not only are they beautifully illustrated, consistently humorous, and full of educational content. They also teach morals and provide guidelines for social interaction in a way that's neither patronizing, nor puerile, nor pedantic. 'The Trouble With Chores' specifically addresses the problems most of us have managing our time with respect to menial tasks, but focuses on a family approach to such an issue. Note that this book was published in 2005, fairly late in the Bears series when the family includes Honey bear, the baby sister of Brother and Sister bear (just in case you've already read some Berenstain Bear books and do not wish to be surprised by this addition).

our family has always loved these books, i like that they made a series as well but sometimes is nice to just snuggle up with the little ones and read these. perfect condition, excellent price

I'm a longtime fan of the Berenstain Bears and have a huge collection that my 4 and 5 year olds now enjoy. I purchased some new books for the collection, and this was one of them. I really liked the point they were making, but the drawings didn't look like the Bears I'm used to. I'm assuming this might have been one of the last books before Stan passed away, so maybe that is why they don't look quite right. Otherwise, I appreciated the message that everyone needs to pitch in to help mom keep the house clean.
