The book content is helpful for the course I'm taking in Paralegal studies-Introduction to Legal Assistant ethics, this is an introductory class so the book provides good info on ethics. professional conduct, etc. I recommend the book for students of paralegal studies in first or 2nd semester.

The seller advertised the book as like new and without marking inside... Like new fit well because it looks like his/her dog bit off a corner of the covr. Also inside EVERY chapter had numerous sections highlighted. ALTHOUGH, the book didn't match the description; the highlighting was helpful and for less than $2.00 to purchase I can deal with a corner missing from the cover. Therefore, I gave a rating of 4 out of 5 stars because the book was not exactly as described. BUT, the highlighting was helpful and i couldn't beat the price with a stick. Also, the book arrived promptly and exactly when I was told it would. Maybe Im being a little critical of the seller's description but I am being honest.

Had to purchase this book for my paralegal courses. It was a lot smaller and thinner than I expected it to be, but still provides some helpful information

A brilliantly interesting read.

I've read a lot of books about popular music. This one is nothing short of amazing. Well researched, it lets us know why there are few rich musicians, but a lot of rich music businessmen (and given his long experience in the music business, he should know). Napier-Bell is also quite the character so he doesn't realize these kinds of books are supposed to bore you to death. Instead, we get all the dirt on the famous and semi-famous in the music business. Even better, Simon Napier-Bell follows it all the way back to the beginning of (western) popular music to let us know this kind of swindle has been going on for centuries. I'm from brazil, please forgive any mispellings or wrong words!

The best and most comprehensive history of the modern music business from 1710 to present. Extremely insightful. After you read this it will all make sense, and you'll understand why it is the way it is. Bravo Mr. Napier-Bell!

I picked up this book on Kindle because I was looking for some assistance on understanding Tendenitus. It's a fabulous book on foot health-easy to understand, too.

Fortunately, there are podiatrists! Most patients (and many of their doctors) know very little about feet. This little book is well written. It has good photos and simple drawings to help explanations. I recommend "The Foot Book" for laymen trying to better understand a foot diagnosis or treatment. I also recommend it for nurses and physicians looking for a good review text.Larry D. Romane, M.D., FACEP

I found this boook very helpful

This is a book that has the same small amount of useful information about the feet, but then starts a discussion about "perfect" feet which does not exist and finally talks about some conditions of abnormality as a way to prepare you for what you should talk about with your foot doctor... it says essentially the same thing that all books on shoes and feet have said for 100s of years now -- shoes should NEVER have to break in (except that stiffened rawhide (as in the platform your foot sits on) needs to soften with usage -- so shoes should NEVER leave blisters or raw skin...My problem here is that I have not been able to find shoes that fit right now for nearly 20 years... so I guess I might soon have to make my own shoes if I want shoes that are propperly fit to my feet....So, this book is 1) useful in that it can help people come to know what to pay attention to reguarding feet health and safety, and help you know what to talk to your doctor about -- who hasn't gone to the doctor and wish you knew what to ask?? But not much else... yes, it helps under stand feet better, but the average person should understand atleast most of the basics as common sense kind of things....If you want to know more about your feet .. get it, but be prepared to have some questions remain unanswered here.

For years I have been looking for a good foot care book.This is it. Authors Rose/Martorona have nailed the subject(without any pun intention).These two know their subject, and explain in detail, in layman's language, how to care for your feet, and when to seek professional help. They appear to suggest young women-especially- should not damage the nail-groove when doing home treatment/pedicures;and describe how to avoid problems,for later in life,by doing things the proper way.By being 'out of sight'we forget our feet and their care, until they 'kick-up',this book will be a very worthwhile purchase,for everyone,with problematic AND healthy paws.

This book is extremely helpful in understanding common foot ailments and how to alleviate pain. It's easy to read and with great graphics, it makes sense even to someone with little medical knowledge. A must read for anyone who wants to take care of their feet.

The story itself is great. Sankara is a young leader with a vision. He wanted to change the unchangeable. He fought and sacrificed his life to give hope to the thousands of Burkinabè and other people around the world who desperately are trying to bring change to such a complicated world. Unfortunately, his enemies seem to have plotted with his entourage to take his breath. He is gone; but Thomas Sankara like Che, Patrice, Mandela, Fidel, Dessalines and many die only to give life and hope. Any fight against imperialism and colonialism is an expensive one. the only victory one can have in this fight is death. At some point, we hope the leaders of the so called westernize world will find themselves facing history and cowardly will try to deny responsibility of their inaction. Only the Almighty will judge.As far as presentation, there are about 20-30 pages in the center of the book that are glued upside down.
